The ‘Make the Wagga Rail Trail Pozible’ Crowd Funding campaign was launched on Thursday night to a crowd of more than 100 local people at the Thirsty Crow Brewery.

Our ambitious crowdfunding campaign aims to raise $40,000 in just over three weeks. But this is an ambitious project, and with your support we can make it happen.

Support from the crowd at the launch was phenomenal and within four hours we reached 17% of our target plus $1300 in cash donations.

But it doesn’t stop there. The more we raise, the more we can do.

If we reach our $40,000 target before the December 20 deadline, then we keep going: we’re reaching for the sky.

If we raise more than $40,000, we’ll use the extra funds to kickstart a trail maintenance fund.
We’ll be able to plan ahead knowing that we can already afford to maintain the trail from the day it’s built.

Your support for this campaign is so important. When the legislation enabling rail trails in NSW passes, we need to be ready with a plan.

We have one chance to raise the money needed for a comprehensive trail plan that contains all the information needed for the development approvals and capital investment to build the trail.
Watch the video about the campaign and pledge your support here before December 20.

This is an opportunity to stand up and be counted for what we all want, and that’s a positive future for our city.

Any donation, large or small will contribute to creating the Wagga Rail Trail, so give whatever you can.
